European Unions in action

  1. This is the right answer to the structured HP layoff plan, with no future developpement plan for employees, and for the company!

  2. What an action! Two letters... Mark sure is scared now!

  3. Well, there are some horse powers behind the bodies writing these letters.

You can make jokes about it, but what are you doing yourself to challenge "Benchmarkurd" strategy ?

    Next stage :

October 27th in Brussels : EMF Meeting about HP associating between 10 and 15 HP country representatives, plus european and local unions
as well as the 2nd EMF Meeting with the European Commission. A complete action plan will be decided and executed in order to challenge HP strategy in Europe for 2006, 2007 and beyond.

  4. What about organizing an "European Strike"?
Is it possible? In which country striking is permitted?

Such an event would put HP in the spotlights once again at a really upper level. It would at least raise the European flag and show that European employees know what an international environment means and also how to make things happen!

  5. Why should we all be interested in saving the jobs that make us all suffer?

    RépondreSupprimer
  6. Because without job, no house, no high school for your kids, no social life...

Really don't understand what you mean. Are you HP employee?

    RépondreSupprimer
  8. So the consensus here is that all HP Employees are against these changes. I am an HP employee and find the coming changes very good.

  9. Great ! Can you explain why theses changes are good ?

  10. CEO Transcript
Mark talks with employees in Alpharetta, Georgia

"We have different issues in Europe, for example, and there are different opinions. We’re not as popular in France as we would have been. You know, it’s a painful process because they’ve been very focused on trying to change our minds. You know, implying that maybe we’re confused, or that we don’t really understand this or don’t understand that, and I think we understand. We need to get these actions behind us and get them done.
I want to make sure I’m clear with all of you. As a U.S. audience, this has nothing to do with HP people in France. This has nothing to do with our customers in France. We have great people in France. I’ve met them, they work hard, they love HP. This has to do with a different way of thinking about how an economy ought to be run as opposed to anything to do with our people – and I’ve got a lot of e-mails from people frustrated with HP France. This has nothing to do with HP France. It has to do with just us getting through some of these bureaucratic things, which we will get done with. "

  11. How to break down a profitable company31 octobre 2005 à 22:53

Yep, I have no trust in our CEO and mangament; I think we are just startint to lose market share from consummer's market to governement's market. Mark Hurd is not able to show us any other strategy and he will go straight away until HPK'll dive and the board'll propose another CEO but it'll be late...
